Senior Pastor

First Baptist Church Chatsworth, GA is seeking a Senior Pastor who will:

Be responsible for leading the church in the fulfillment of its mission. Proclaiming the gospel through preaching, teaching, and witnessing. Meet the biblical standards of a Pastor (1 Tim 3:2-7). Set the proper example to the congregation (1 Peter 5:3) and to the community (Titus 1:6-8). Preaching: Strong expository preaching skills exhibiting strong biblical knowledge and standards worthy of his calling Evangelism: Striving to reach lost people in our community and world. Fellowship: Interacting and approachable; a love for people. Discipleship: Building up the saints with sound biblical teaching and application, shepherding their spiritual development. Servant Leader: A visionary leader that loves the Bride of Christ; humbly reaching out to and serving all people. Administrator: Exhibiting high standards to church staff. Performing tasks related to the church office, finances and facility working closely and openly with the deacons of the church.
