Locations: Mpigi, Jinja, Mayuge Districts)

We are seeking passionate and skilled individuals to join our team for a Korean Government-supported international development cooperation project. This project aims to empower local communities and increase the income of residents in Mpigi, Mityana, Jinja and Mayuge districts of Uganda.

A candidate for the Job should be a resident of the district or able to live and speak the local language fluently.
1. Positions, Key Responsibilities, and Qualifications.
1) Project Coordinator (3 Positions): Overall Project Management & Financial Administration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Overall planning, management, and operation of the project.
  • Overall financial management, including project budget formulation, execution, and accounting ledger management.
  • Prepare and submit regular and ad-hoc reports.
  • Support collaboration and communication with Korean specialists, and prepare.
  • Develop and execute procurement plans for project supplies and materials.
  • Oversee general project administrative and office tasks.


Qualifications:
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or a relevant degree in accounting with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field.
  • Experience in international development cooperation or similar project management is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Business English (able to draft reports and conduct meetings).
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Applicants with driving ability will be given preference.

Terms of Employment
  • Employment begins with a 3-month probationary period, after which it will be converted to a full-time position.
  • Full-time contracts are on a one-year basis and may be renewed annually until a maximum of 2028.
