Job Responsibilities

1. Every day, check whether the order arranged the previous day is in the picked up state. If it is not in the picked up state, check the reason with the corresponding warehouse clerk. If the customer service/warehouse deletion situation is reported to the direct management transportation manager for corresponding operations in TMS, and update the WAYBILL information in the Order Tracking Table.

 2 Get order information for the day

Daily real-time monitoring of delivery order information in micro groups of distribution companies and TMS system; Receive the paper delivery order, check whether the TMS system has the corresponding order, and return the order to the business line customer service if there is an abnormal order.

 3. Get the Available Vehicle Information Table

Get the Available Vehicle Information Table after approval by the Transport supervisor from the Transport Commissioner everyday.

 4. Categorize orders

Every day, orders should be classified according to the principle of local orders in the same direction as the region and orders in the same direction.

 5. Vehicle selection

Select vehicles from the Available Vehicles Information Table on the day according to the Uganda Dispatching Rules to arrange the order. After completion, manually add vehicle information (only for bulk order) and waybill loading sequence to the delivery order Waybill, and submit it to the transport manager for signature and confirmation.

 6.Arrange trucks at TMS system

Complete TMS system dispatch (delivery order - review; Stowage - manual stowage) and update the Order Tracking Form

7.Perform other duties as assigned to support business operations.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred.

1.Hard Skills: Proficient in Transportation Management System (TMS) or other similar system and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), with basic data

processing capabilities.

Preferred: Experience with other internal enterprise systems (e.g., OA) or demonstrated ability to learn new systems quickly.

2.Soft Skills: Excellent logical thinking, communication, coordination, and time management.

Experience:

Prior experience in logistics or transport dispatch is preferred. Candidates without direct experience must demonstrate a rapid understanding of the above processes and rules in attachment.

Personal Attributes: Detail-oriented, meticulous, resilient, and capable of working efficiently and accurately on multiple parallel tasks.
