Key Responsibilities
  • Actively promote and sell Zoomlion's construction, mining and agricultural machinery to potential clients in Uganda and the East African region.
  • Identify new market opportunities and develop tailored marketing strategies to expand the client base.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with contractors, farmers, resellers, and government institutions.
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase features and benefits to clients.
  • Support the preparation of proposals, quotations, and contracts in line with company policies.
  • Monitor industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to inform business strategy.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to the Country Manager on sales pipeline, client feedback, and progress.

Consultant Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of sales experience in heavy machinery, transport and logistics or industrial product markets.
  • Knowledge of the construction, mining and agricultural sectors is highly preferred.
  • Proven ability to close sales deals and manage accounts independently.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with CRM software
