Role Overview
The Sales and Extension Manager will lead the organization’s field operations to drive revenue growth and expand market reach. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, supervising field teams, strengthening farmer engagement, and ensuring that all field activities align with the commercial objectives of the business.
Key Responsibilities
● Drive achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets
● Supervise, guide, and manage field teams and agents to ensure high performance
● Develop and implement strategies for market expansion, including entry into new areas
● Ensure farmers are effectively served and maintain strong relationships with farmer groups
● Conduct regular field visits to engage farmers, address complaints, and gather insights
● Chair performance review meetings with field teams and track progress against targets
● Work closely with the Finance and Administration Manager to set and monitor performance targets
● Design and implement incentive structures to motivate field teams and agents
● Ensure all field decisions align with the commercial direction of the business
● Monitor market trends and provide feedback to inform strategy and product positioning
● Ensure data capture and integrity in all company systems
● Perform any other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Experience
● Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
● Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
● Minimum of 3 years’ experience in sales management and relationship management
● Experience working with farmer groups, agribusiness, or FMCG is an added advantage
● Ability to ride a motorcycle and willingness to relocate
● Fluency in Luganda and ability to engage effectively with local communities

Remuneration
The role offers a competitive salary, with additional earnings directly linked to the achievement of sales targets.
