Reports to the Owners/Board
We are looking for a commercial, hands-on Hotel Manager to run our two sites (33 rooms) as one profitable hotel and lead a team of about 35.
What you will do
- Own the annual budget, the monthly management pack and the Year 1 targets for occupancy, rate, cash margin and guest score.
- Lead, coach and appraise five department leads; run a weekly management meeting and a daily 15- minute briefing.
- Lead key-account sales to NGOs, institutions and the conference hall, and approve rates below the floor.
- Protect quality, safety, licences and reputation, and handle escalated guest issues and online reviews.
- Report to the owners every month on KPIs, cash and risks.
What we are looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Hotel and Tourism, Business or Hospitality Management; an MBA or professional diploma is an advantage.
- At least 7 years in hotels, including 3 or more as a general or hotel manager or deputy; you have run a turnaround or a multi-outlet property.
- Strong in profit-and-loss control, revenue management, key-account sales and leadership; good Excel; fluent in English, and Luo is an advantage.
