About SC Villa

Sports Club Villa (SC Villa), affectionately known as "The Jogoos," is Uganda's most successful and iconic football club. Founded in 1975 as Nakivubo Boys, the club has evolved into a professional football institution with a rich legacy spanning over five decades.

With 17 Uganda Premier League titles, 9 Uganda Cups, and 3 CECAFA Clubs Cup titles, SC Villa stands as the most decorated club in Ugandan football history.

After a 16-year trophy drought, SC Villa reclaimed the Uganda Premier League title in the 2023/2024 season, marking a turning point in the club's journey back to the summit of Ugandan football.

The club is currently undergoing a significant institutional transformation aimed at ensuring long-term sustainability and success, including ownership reform through the Villa Members Trust, governance restructuring, and a renewed commercial vision to become the richest club in Uganda once again.

SC Villa finds itself at a critical inflection point: a club with an unparalleled history and a passionate fan base, now seeking to modernize its governance, commercial operations, and institutional structures. The recruitment of a visionary CEO is central to this transformation agenda.
