Role Overview
The Finance and Administration Manager will be responsible for overseeing the organization’s financial management and administrative functions. This includes preparing accurate financial records, ensuring statutory compliance, managing cash flow, and supporting strategic decision- making to drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
● Prepare and maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records
● File tax returns and ensure full compliance with all statutory and regulatory bodies
● Account for revenue in a timely and accurate manner
● Prepare periodic financial, management, and donor reports as required
● Process payroll and other organizational payments
● Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and cash flow plans
● Lead pricing work streams proactively
● Strengthen internal controls and financial systems
● Work closely with Sales and Extension teams to design and implement strategies to meet revenue targets
● Support with asset management
● Support audits and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
● Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
Qualifications and Experience
● Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
● A professional qualification (CPA or ACCA) is required
● Minimum of 3 years’ relevant work experience in a reputable organization
● Experience in FMCG or large-scale agribusiness is an added advantage
● Proven experience in financial reporting, tax compliance, and cash management
● Fluency in Luganda and willingness to relocate
