Used Engine Oil Procurement Manager (Black Oil Procurement)
Job summary
To develop and strengthen the procurement network for used engine oil (black oil), build relationships with workshops and traders, and ensure a timely and continuous supply to meet production requirements.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Identify and develop new sources of used engine oil from workshops, garages, transport companies, industries, and traders.
- Regularly visit workshops and collection points to maintain strong business relationships.
- Coordinate with traders and suppliers to speed up the collection and dispatch of black oil.
- Follow up continuously with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and increased volumes.
- Monitor market prices and competitor activities.
- Resolve supplier issues and maintain good long-term relationships.
- Achieve monthly procurement targets as assigned by management.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and environmental regulations.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with workshops and traders.
- Aggressive follow-up and execution ability.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively and work in the field.
- Basic knowledge of used engine oil (black oil) trading is preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, trading, lubricants, waste oil collection, automotive workshops, or related industries. Existing contacts with workshops, transporters, or black oil traders will be an added advantage.
