About Good Neighbours International - Uganda

Good Neighbors is an international humanitarian development NGO established in Korea in 1991 with a mission to create a world free from hunger and where people coexist harmoniously.

Our first community development initiative in Bangladesh began in 1992. Presently, we operate in 192 communities across 40 countries, focusing on inclusive community development and child protection.

In 1994, our organization initiated its first emergency response project during the Rwandan refugee crisis. We provided medical teams and established schools in refugee camps.

Good Neighbors Uganda was founded in 2014, headquartered in Kampala. Our primary focus is on Community Development Projects (CDPs) and safeguarding children's rights. We promote self-reliance among communities and operate in Kampala, Jinja, and Pallisa Districts. We emphasize sustainable development through community empowerment, leadership, and ownership.

Our key areas of intervention include education, health, sanitation, income generation, and advocacy.
