Air Conditioning Technician

Install new air-conditioning systems, including split AC units, ceiling cassette units, and ducted air-conditioning systems.

Work closely with the HVAC team during installation, commissioning, and other technical assignments as required.

Work independently or alongside other technicians, including supporting RAC (Refrigeration and Air Conditioning) split-unit installations.

Undertake AC installation and maintenance assignments upcountry and at different project locations as required.

Perform routine preventive maintenance on air-conditioning systems, including cleaning coils, inspecting and replacing filters, checking belt tension, and clearing drain lines.

Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults in air-conditioning and refrigeration equipment.

Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and carry out necessary repairs to restore systems to proper working condition.

Replace faulty or worn components, including compressors, motors, valves, capacitors, contactors, and other electrical and mechanical parts.

Conduct testing and commissioning of installed or repaired AC systems to ensure proper operation and performance.

Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance activities, repairs, replaced parts, and equipment condition.

Observe all health, safety, environmental, and company procedures while carrying out installation, maintenance, and repair works.

Ensure proper handling, use, and maintenance of tools, equipment, spare parts, and other company assets.

Perform any other related technical duties assigned by the supervisor or management.
