To lead and expand the company’s outgrowers scheme by mobilizing, training, and supporting cassava farmers. This role ensures a consistent supply of quality cassava, strengthens farmer relations, monitors field performance, and contributes to long-term rural development and raw material sustainability for the factory.

Key Result Areas
Specific Tasks / Responsibilities
Farmer Mobilization
- Mobilize new farmers into the outgrowers scheme
- Build strong relationships and community presence through meetings and visits
Training & Capacity Building
- Design and conduct structured training programs on cassava agronomy, input use, and post-harvest practices
- Track training attendance and effectiveness
Field Supervision
- Supervise extension officers and monitor field performance
- Conduct field visits to assess crop status and farmer compliance
Procurement & Logistics
- Ensure timely cassava supply from outgrowers
- Coordinate harvest schedules, transport, and delivery logistics
Price & Risk Management
- Conduct price surveys and recommend pricing for cassava purchases
- Monitor input distribution and related risks (e.g., misuse or loss)
Data & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records on farmer performance, yields, training, and costs
- Analyze data to inform decisions and improve program impact
