Job summary.

The Interior Architectural Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day to day

operational execution of interior architecture projects, ensuring seamless coordination between

design, technical documentation, procurement, site execution, and client delivery. This role

bridges creative vision and operational efficiency, driving projects from concept through

completion on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

The Operations Manager ensures systems, teams, and workflows function smoothly while

supporting interior architect(s), designers, consultants, contractors, and clients.


Key responsibilities.

Project & operational management.

  • Oversee multiple interior architecture projects simultaneously from design development
  • to handover.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, work plans, and delivery timelines.
  • Monitor project budgets, cost control, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with design intent, technical standards, and contractual requirements.

Team coordination & leadership.


  • Coordinate interior architect(s), designers,contractors, and external consultants.
  • Assign tasks, track progress, and resolve workflow problems.
  • Support team performance through clear processes, accountability, and communication.
  • Mentor junior team members on operational and technical standards.


Design to execution oversight.

  • Review drawings, specifications, BOQs, and firm drawings for accuracy and
  • constructability.
  • Ensure smooth transition from concept design to technical documentation and site
  • execution.
  • Coordinate approvals with clients, consultants, and authorities where required.


Procurement & vendor management.

  • Oversee material selection, procurement schedules, and supplier coordination.
  • Liaise with contractors, fabricators, and vendors to ensure timely delivery.
  • Evaluate supplier performance, pricing, and quality standards.


Site & Quality control

  • Coordinate with site teams to ensure proper execution of interior works.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor quality, progress, and compliance with drawings.
  • Identify risks early and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure health, safety, and professional site practices are followed.


Client & stakeholder management.

  • Act as a key point of contact for operational matters with clients.
  • Provide regular project updates, reports, and timelines.
  • Manage client expectations while protecting design quality and operational feasibility.

Process improvement & systems.

  • Develop and improve internal workflows, templates, and operational systems.
  • Implement project management tools and reporting structures.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and improve delivery quality.


Required qualifications & experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Architecture, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.
  • 1+ years experience in interior architecture, design build, or architectural project delivery.
  • Proven experience managing interior fit out or architectural projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and detailing.
  • Experience working with consultants, contractors, and suppliers.

  • management software such as Google drive & Microsoft suite.

Reporting line.

Reports to: Principal Interior Architect / CEO


Works closely with: Architectural team, design team, technical team, site teams, and

procurement & finance
