Regional Business & Operations Lead – Central Region

 Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and supervise all branch operations across the Central Region.

2. Translate company-wide targets into regional and branch-level goals.

3. Review daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports from branches.

4. Ensure branches meet disbursement, recovery, and deposit mobilisation targets.

5. Drive growth of Kray’s loan, savings, and investment products within the region.

6. Enforce compliance with credit, risk, and operational standards.

7. Conduct regular field visits to monitor portfolio quality and client satisfaction.

8. Mentor and appraise Branch Managers, fostering a culture of discipline and performance.

9. Coordinate with Finance for branch liquidity and reconciliations.

10. Liaise with Risk & Compliance to address audit issues.

11. Recommend training needs and staff development for the region.

12. Report directly to the CEO on performance, risks, and opportunities.

Qualifications and Experience

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Banking, or Economics.
2. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in branch or regional management within financial services.
3. Proven experience in credit oversight, team leadership, and operational supervision.
4. Knowledge of microfinance regulations and regional market dynamics (Central Uganda).
