Positions available
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily plantation operations for tea, coffee, and banana crops within the division.
- Implement approved agronomic practices to achieve targeted yields, quality standards, and cost efficiency.
- Manage and supervise field supervisors, team leaders, and plantation workers to ensure productivity and discipline.
- Monitor crop performance, identify pest and disease risks, and implement timely corrective measures.
- Ensure compliance with UTCL policies, certification standards, and statutory health, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Control use of farm inputs, tools, and machinery while safeguarding company assets.
- Prepare and submit accurate production, labor, and operational reports to Estate Management.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency, sustainability, and staff capacity
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Plantation Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience managing large-scale tea or mixed-crop plantations.
- Strong leadership, reporting, and field coordination skills.
