Job summary
The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding distribution channels, managing sales teams (if applicable), and building strong relationships with customers, retailers, and institutional buyers.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Develop and implement a sales strategy to achieve revenue targets
- Identify and secure new distribution outlets (shops, supermarkets, schools, hotels, offices)
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts
- Supervise and motivate sales staff and delivery teams
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities
- Ensure proper product placement and visibility in outlets
- Prepare sales reports and forecasts
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in sales (FMCG/food industry is an added advantage)
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
