Q-Sourcing Limited trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan.
On behalf of our client in the Logistics Industry, we are looking for a competent , skilled, and experienced Freight Forwarding Coordinator to work in Uganda.
Job Purpose: The freight forwarding Country Coordinator is expected to plan, organize, lead and control the daily operations of the business unit for the growth, development and profitability of EHS Uganda, whilst working in very close collaboration with customs, suppliers & customers. This Role will report directly to Country Management
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Respond to daily quote and service requests Monitor and control all activated files Monitor all requests that have not be activated Ensure customer satisfaction Establish relationships with local suppliers (transporters, airlines, shipping companies customs brokers, handling agents) Establish service offering for the business unit (Import, Export, DDP, IOR etc ) Establish tariffs from all suppliers Establish tariffs for all services that the business unit will offer Establish Service contracts with contractors & suppliers Progressively create procedures for Operations, Customer Services and other related functions Create & manage organized filing system Actively develop & pursue, prospective clients both nationally and internationally Collaborate with Sales Management for sales development & lead generation opportunities Innovate and create solutions in order to satisfy clients freight forwarding Establish services offerings from Ports of Tanzania & Kenya Pursue Service excellence Establishing and driving planned goals. Create weekly and monthly reporting of file margins Provide direction and support to any team membersGENERAL FUNCTIONS

Other tasks may be added to meet the needs of the business: Present weekly, monthly and quarterly reports to our management team detailing the sales team’s progression towards annual goals. Ensure existing customer retention & growth Ensure maximum proximity to customers Strong competitor knowledge per country Meets with Management to review current performance of the business portfolio and develops targeted approaches to assist the business in achieving targeted goals Conducts Operations & Sales meetings with the department managers to review sales opportunities and issues with each department Partner with management to develop a deep understanding of the business and build the right marketing strategy in support of sales objectives, with a particular focus on lead generation and qualificationQualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Admin (a preference) as a minimum educational qualification. Minimum 5years experience & knowledge in logistics, transport, customs, clearance, operations Experience in use of CRM. Sales Force preferably Ability to measure & analyse performance Creative and goal orientated with energy and tremendous drive & passion Strong team leadership and motivation skills. Ability to work independentlyBEHAVIORAL SKILLS:
Fluent in English, knowledge of French would be an added advantage Demonstrate abilities to work and perform in any given situation considering the local environment Leader and motivator Dynamic and confident communicator Able to mediateHow to apply :
