Reports To: Client Relations Manager
Job Location: Kampala, Uganda

Job Summary:
The Client Relations Officer supports the Manager in maintaining positive relationships with clients. The role handles daily client communications, provides administrative support for accounts, and acts as a liaison to ensure client requests are communicated and executed effectively.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Handle routine client inquiries via phone, email and in person.
  • Schedule and coordinate client meetings and prepare necessary documentation.
  • Update and maintain client records in the CRM database.
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals, presentations, and reports.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to track the progress of client projects.
  • Conduct follow-up calls and emails to ensure client satisfaction after events.
  • Gather market intelligence and client feedback for management.

Span of Control:
  • Direct Reports: None.
  • Indirect Reports: None.
  • Financial Authority: None.
  • Decision Making Authority: Authority to make routine administrative decisions to support client accounts. Refers all non-routine matters to the Manager.
Working Conditions: Office-based. Requires professional communication and computer skills.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in an administrative or customer support role.
  • Skills & Competencies: Excellent communication and customer service skills.Strong organizational skills and proficiency in MS Office. Ability to speak multiple local languages (e.g., Luganda) is an advantage.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
  • Timeliness of response to client inquiries
  • Accuracy of CRM data entry
  • Client feedback on support received
  • Number of admin tasks completed accurately
