Sales Representative
Job summary
Generational Bottling Company, a fast-growing bottled water company based in Namanve with a company outlet in Nankulabye Kampala(depot), is seeking energetic and motivated Sales Representatives to promote and distribute bottled water to retail shops, supermarkets, restaurants, and other businesses across Kampala. The ideal candidates should be young, hardworking, and results-oriented individuals with strong communication skills and a passion for sales. Candidates who can ride three-wheeler vehicles (tuk-tuks) and possess a valid driving permit will have an added advantage. This role offers a fixed monthly salary plus commission on every carton of water sold, providing excellent earning potential for high performers.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Visit retail shops, supermarkets, kiosks, and other outlets across Kampala to market and sell bottled water.
- Identify and onboard new customers to expand the company’s distribution network.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
- Take customer orders and coordinate timely deliveries.
- Promote company products and communicate ongoing offers.
- Collect market intelligence on customer preferences, competitor activities, and pricing trends.
- Prepare daily sales reports and submit them to management.
- Follow up on customer payments where necessary.
- Meet and exceed assigned sales targets.
- Minimum of (UCE), (UACE), or a certificate in Sales and Marketing is an added advantage.
- Previous experience in sales, distribution, or customer service is preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and Luganda.
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and target-driven.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to ride a tuk-tuk (three-wheeler) is highly desirable.
- Valid driving permit is an added advantage.
