Job Summary:
The salesperson is responsible for selling bakery products to existing clients, acquiring new customers, and ensuring timely delivery of products using the company van. This role combines sales, customer relationship management, and delivery duties to drive revenue growth and maintain high customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver bakery products to existing clients (shops, supermarkets, retail outlets) according to daily delivery schedules, together with a Van Driver
  • Sell bakery products directly to clients during delivery rounds.
  • Identify and approach potential new customers to expand the bakery’s market reach.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with clients, addressing queries and resolving complaints promptly.
  • Monitor stock levels in the van and report shortages to the production or warehouse team.
  • Ensure products are transported safely and maintain product quality during transit.
  • Collect payments where applicable and submit records accurately.
  • Provide feedback from customers on product performance, demand, or market trends.
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper organisation of the delivery van.
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales and delivery targets as set by management.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma; a certificate in Sales, Marketing, or Business Administration is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 1year experience in any sales related role
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • High level of integrity, reliability, and a customer-focused attitude.


Compensation:
  • Base Retainer: UGX 200,000 per month
  • Commission: Very high commission-based structure on sales (performance-driven)
  • Other incentives may be offered based on targets and company policies.
