Role Description The Professional Sales Agent - Nakawa is a full-time, on-site role based in Kampala, responsible for promoting trade finance and related services to potential and existing clients. The role involves identifying sales opportunities, presenting solutions, and closing deals, while maintaining strong relationships with customers and partners. Daily tasks include conducting client meetings, explaining insurance and finance products, responding to inquiries, and providing high-quality customer service. The Professional Sales Agent will also support training activities for clients or team members, prepare sales reports, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Strong Communication skills, including clear presentation and active listening.
• Proven Customer Service abilities to build trust and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Demonstrated Sales skills, including prospecting, negotiation, and closing.
• Basic understanding of Insurance and financial products, preferably in trade finance.
• Experience in Training or coaching clients and colleagues on products and processes.
• Relevant experience in sales, finance, banking, or insurance is an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site in Kampala and travel locally within assigned areas as needed.
• Strong organizational skills, reliability, and a results-oriented mindset.
• Diploma or degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
