Job Purpose
The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the company's day-to-day manufacturing operations to ensure efficient production, quality products, timely delivery, and cost-effective use of resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily production operations to ensure targets are achieved.
  • Ensure products are manufactured according to quality standards.
  • Monitor production schedules and ensure timely delivery of customer orders.
  • Manage the use of raw materials, machinery, and workforce efficiently.
  • Work closely with the Sales, Procurement, and Warehouse teams to support smooth operations.
  • Monitor production costs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Lead, supervise, and support the production and operations team.
  • Prepare regular operational and production reports for management.
  • Resolve operational challenges and implement continuous improvements.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Manufacturing, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing or production operations.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.
  • Experience in the plastics or manufacturing industry is an added advantage.

Skills & Competencies
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Good planning and organizational skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of production planning and quality control.
  • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
