Job Purpose
The Interior Designer will be responsible for developing creative and practical interior designs, preparing drawings and 3D visualizations, and supporting projects from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop interior design concepts based on client requirements.
- Prepare detailed 2D drawings and 3D designs.
- Create layouts, floor plans, and design presentations.
- Produce 3D models and visualizations using SketchUp.
- Prepare technical drawings using AutoCAD.
- Work closely with clients, contractors, and project teams.
- Select appropriate materials, finishes, furniture, and fixtures.
- Conduct site visits and ensure designs are implemented correctly.
- Make design adjustments based on client or project requirements.
- Ensure projects are delivered within agreed timelines.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in SketchUp and AutoCAD.
- Strong knowledge of space planning and interior design principles.
- Good creativity and attention to detail.
- Good communication and client-handling skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
