- Lead and manage the hospital’s Human Resource function in alignment with organisational goals and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and best practices that enhance staff performance, culture, and experience.
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, orientation, and talent management processes.
- Coordinate performance management, training, and succession planning to ensure continuous staff development.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, labour regulations, and internal policies.
- Manage employee relations, resolve conflict, and foster a positive work environment anchored on Integrity, Respect, Nurture, and Excellence.
- Oversee payroll inputs, benefits administration, and HR information systems.
- Guide management and staff on HR matters and support strategic decision-making.
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management.
- Postgraduate Master's degree in Human Resource Management is favourable
- At least 5–7 years of progressively responsible HR experience, preferably in healthcare (private for-profit hospital) or a large service-driven organisation.
- Strong knowledge of Ugandan labour laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and emotional intelligence.
