Job descriptions & requirements
1. Plant Maintenance & Care
- Plant, water, prune, fertilize, and maintain flowers, trees, shrubs, and lawns.
- Monitor the health of all plants and green spaces, identifying and addressing issues such as diseases, nutrient deficiencies, or pest infestations.
- Perform routine grounds maintenance including mowing lawns, trimming hedges, edging walkways, weeding, and mulching.
- Conduct seasonal planting, including the installation and rotation of ornamental plants and flowers.
- Ensure regular watering of plants and lawns, especially during hot and dry seasons.
2. Landscaping & Beautification
- Assist in landscape design and installation projects, including new plantings, erosion control, and beautification initiatives for company events or strategic improvements.
- Plan and implement garden layouts and plant configurations to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the园区.
- Maintain garden beds, borders, and outdoor areas to ensure they are neat, clean, and visually appealing at all times.
3. Pest & Disease Management
- Control weeds and pests where necessary, using appropriate methods and products.
- Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides safely and in accordance with environmental regulations.
- Monitor and address pest problems that could damage plants.
4. Equipment & Irrigation Management
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, sprayers, and irrigation systems.
- Perform minor repairs on gardening tools and equipment as needed.
- Ensure irrigation systems are functioning properly and report any issues promptly.
5. Compliance & Safety
- Follow health and safety regulations for landscaping and gardening activities.
- Report any landscaping issues, damaged plants, irrigation problems, or safety hazards to the Facilities Manager.
- Maintain accurate records of plant care activities, including watering schedules, fertilization, and pest control treatments.
Qualifications & Experience
Education
- Diploma or Certificate in Horticulture, Agriculture, Landscaping, or a related field is preferred.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Horticulture, Landscaping, or Grounds Maintenance is an advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 2–3 years of practical experience in gardening, landscaping, or groundskeeping.
- Experience in an institutional, corporate, or large-scale setting is preferred.
- Proven knowledge of plant care, horticulture, and gardening techniques.
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of regional plant life and local pests.
- Familiarity with synthetic and natural fertilizers.
- Ability to safely operate and maintain gardening tools and equipment.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and basic equipment maintenance.
