Field Sales Executive
Job summary
We are looking for a motivated and results-oriented Field Sales Executive with at least 3 years of sales experience, preferably within the manufacturing or industrial sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing customer relationships, promoting company products, and achieving assigned sales targets. The candidate should be comfortable working in the field, visiting customers regularly, and travelling to different locations. Ability to ride a motorcycle and possession of a valid motorcycle driving permit/licence is required.

- Identify and develop new customers and business opportunities within assigned territories.
- Visit existing and prospective customers regularly to understand their needs and promote company products.
- Generate sales leads through field visits, referrals, networking, and market research.
- Present and explain products, pricing, and value propositions to customers.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate with customers, and follow up on sales opportunities through to completion.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to encourage repeat business.
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing, and customer requirements.
- Coordinate with production, logistics, and other internal departments to ensure timely delivery of customer orders.
- Follow up on customer payments and outstanding accounts where required.
- Maintain accurate records of customer visits, sales activities, quotations, orders, and follow-ups.
- Prepare regular sales and market reports for management.
- Represent the company professionally at customer meetings, trade events, and other business activities.
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in sales, preferably in manufacturing, industrial products, construction materials, or a related sector.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and grow a customer base.
- Good understanding of field sales and business-to-business (B2B) selling.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Good customer relationship management skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- Must be able to ride a motorcycle confidently.
- Must possess a valid motorcycle driving permit/licence.
- Basic computer skills, including the ability to use email, Microsoft Office, and sales reporting tools.
- Good knowledge of the local market and customer base will be an advantage.
