Electrician (Leave Cover)

Qualification and Experience

• Diploma in Electronics & Electrical Engineering
  
• Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in electrical
  
• Previous professional experience in plant and systems maintenance, professional installations
  

Repairs:

• Writes oral instructions to the Facilities Manager about the locations and scopes of work to be accomplished.
  
• Plans work including time and materials, executes work and documents of tasks completed
  
• Examines equipment, making diagnostic tests to determine nature and extent of work necessary.
  
• Repairs or replace wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools
  
• Replaces blown security light bulbs, transfer switches and regulators
  

Maintenance

• Fastens small metal or plastic boxes to walls to house electrical switches or outlets
  
• Inspects electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
  
• Advises management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous or not
  
• Provide assistance during emergencies by operating floodlights and generators
  

Administration

• Follow up on utility bills (UEDCL) for abnormal charges and faulty electric equipment
  
• Provide preliminary sketches and cost estimates for materials and services as requested by Management
