Job summary
A growing mobile and airtime franchise in Kampala seeks an accountant to manage the company's financial records, perform account reconciliation, track airtime and float, prepare tax returns, monitor expenses, ensure accurate accounting and records for the mobile money and GSM segments, maintain sound financial controls, support the audit process, and provide timely financial information to support decision-making. The role also includes safeguarding company assets, ensuring compliance with franchise agreements, taxation, and accounting standards, ensuring profitability, and supporting efficient operations.

Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Proficiency in Zoho Books
- Minimum 2–3 years’ accounting experience in a franchise
- Proven experience in preparing and submitting financial accounts and reports
