To deliver warm, attentive, and efficient table service that keeps guests coming back to Lawns.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Guest Experience: Greet, seat, and serve guests with a smile. Take orders accurately and upsell specials/drinks.
- Service Flow: Set up, maintain, and clear tables. Coordinate with kitchen/bar to ensure timely food + drink delivery.
- Menu Knowledge: Know our menu inside out. Recommend dishes, handle dietary questions, and flag allergens.
- Cash Handling + POS: Take orders via POS, process bills, handle cash/mobile money payments accurately.
- Ambience: Keep service stations, lawns area, and tables clean/tidy during service.
- Teamwork: Communicate with chefs, bartenders, and other waiters to keep service smooth during busy lawns events.
- Experience: 3+ years in hospitality, restaurant, or hotel service preferred. Fresh, energetic people with a great attitude also welcome.
- Skills: Excellent communication, customer service, memory for orders, and ability to work under pressure. Basic math for billing.
- Personality: Friendly, presentable, proactive, and calm when it’s busy. Team player who takes pride in details.
- Availability: Must work evenings, weekends, and public holidays. Flexibility for events on the lawns.
