Reservoir Attendant - Estate and Works

 Key Duties & Responsibilities

1. Monitor water levels in the tank to determine amount of water to be pumped to maintain specific levels of water for distribution to the entire University;
   
2. Clean water tanks and remove algae and other physical impurities from the tanks;
   
3. Operate the University generator to pump water into the tank;
   
4. Report any mechanical faults on the water pump and generator to the Supervisor;
   
5. Perform any other related duties as assigned by the supervisor from time to time.
   

 Required Qualifications

Certificate in plumbing or an equivalent certificate in Mechanical Engineering.
