Lecturer - Department of Mechanical Engineering.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

1.    Teach, examine and grade students;

2.    Supervise research for students;

3.    Mentor junior staff;

4.    Conduct research and community outreach activities;

5.    Write proposals for attracting funding to the department;

6.    Perform any other official duties as assigned by the Head of Department.

 Required Qualifications

1. PhD in Mechanical Engineering or related fields (i.e., Automation, Robotics, Production-, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, Industrial- Engineering, Chemical/Energy Engineering);
   
2. Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields (i.e, Production-, Manufacturing-, Mechatronics -, Automation and/or robotics, Industrial, Chemical or Energy Engineering);
   
3. An Honours Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields (i.e., Materials, Energy, Production, Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechatronics, robotics, automation, Automotive Engineering or Agricultural Engineering)
