Job summary

Responsible for full-cycle HR operations of the factory in Kampala, Uganda, including full-position recruitment, HR system establishment, employment contract management, payroll and NSSF declaration, government liaison, labor dispute handling and local recruitment channel development to ensure stable staffing and compliant operation.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the overall construction of the company’s organizational structure and full-cycle recruitment for sales, production, administration, technical, and management positions to support factory expansion.
  • Strictly comply with the Uganda Employment Act and NSSF regulations, manage employment contracts, staff registration, social security declaration, attendance records, and monthly payroll preparation.
  • Establish complete HR management systems, employee files, and standardized procedures for onboarding, resignation, transfer, and promotion to eliminate labor legal risks.
  • Liaise with the Uganda Labor Office, NSSF, and relevant government authorities for compliance registration, audits, and labor dispute handling.
  • Cooperate with the Product Trainer to organize staff induction training and ensure full implementation of factory rules and regulations.
  • Develop local labor resources and agent channels to ensure stable and continuous factory staffing.


.Job Requirements

  • Diploma or above in Human Resource Management or Public Administration.
  • Minimum 2 years of practical factory HR working experience in Uganda with solid knowledge of local labor laws, NSSF policies, leave regulations, and termination procedures.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in local languages is an advantage. Familiar with Kampala local recruitment channels.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, capable of drafting legal employment contracts and preparing payroll reports independently.
  • Meticulous, responsible, disciplined, with practical experience in handling local labor disputes.
  • Currently residing in Kampala and available for immediate employment.
