CALIBRATION SPECIALIST

This is an opportunity to join a specialized technical operation working with electronic measurement and speed-enforcement systems.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Perform calibration and verification of electronic measurement and speed- enforcement systems.
- Operate calibration equipment and reference measurement instruments.
- Carry out practical testing and measurement activities.
- Assist with setup and testing of electronic systems at laboratory and field locations.
- Record and analyze measurement results.
- Prepare technical records, worksheets, and calibration documentation.
- Perform basic troubleshooting of electronic equipment.
- Diagnose basic computer, communication, and networking problems.
- Work with computers, electronic instruments, cables, interfaces, and communication systems.
- Follow laboratory procedures, technical instructions, and quality requirements.
- Support the Calibration Laboratory in maintaining accurate and traceable technical records.
- Participate in technical training, competency assessments, and continuous improvement activities.
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in: Electronics Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Instrumentation and Control, Telecommunications Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a closely related technical discipline.
- Basic understanding of electronics.
- Basic computer skills.
- Basic knowledge of computer networking.
- Ability to understand technical instructions and manuals.

- Experience working with technical equipment or laboratory instruments.
- Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 or laboratory quality systems.
