Branch Manager
Job summary
We seek a commercial Branch Manager to run our retail showroom sales, inventory, and operations. You will maximize walk-in sales for motorcycles and parts, hit monthly targets, and build relationships with local fleets and mechanics. You will also manage branch stock levels, coordinate logistics, and resolve customer service issues swiftly.

Key Responsibilities
- Actively sell motorcycles and fast-moving spare parts to walk-in customers, fleets, and local riders to meet monthly branch targets.
- Oversee branch inventory management, ensuring optimal stock levels of motorcycle units and critical spare parts while minimizing variances.
- Record and report on daily sales, walk-in traffic, cash reconciliations, and banking activities to the Regional Sales Manager.
- Coordinate closely with the main warehouse and central logistics for timely stock replenishment, vehicle parts distribution, and product warranty processing.
- Deliver a superior showroom experience by ensuring professional client greetings, transparent product explanations, and proactive follow-ups to cultivate long-term brand loyalty.
- Greet customers, manage expectations, resolve complaints regarding product performance, and coordinate parts replacements with technicians.
- Build strategic relationships with local mechanic workshops, spare parts retailers, and boda boda stages within the branch catchment area.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong operational management skills with an understanding of retail inventory controls and stock-taking procedures.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Basic technical understanding of motorcycle components or automotive parts is a strong asset.
- Highly organized, honest, and accountable with sharp attention to detail in daily commercial documentation.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years of retail store or branch management experience, preferably within the automotive, hardware, industrial spare parts, or FMCG sectors.
- Proven track record of managing retail sales quotas and controlling stock/cash reconciliations.
