Jerrybag LTD

JERRYBAG is a global social impact design company founded in Uganda in 2014. Driven by a mission to improve child safety and community welfare, JERRYBAG designs and produces innovative, sustainable products — most notably ergonomic bags that help local children carry heavy jerrycans of water safely from distant sources to their homes.

Through its core BUY&GIVE campaign, every purchase of a JERRYBAG product funds and donates a specially designed JERRYCAN BAG to a child in need in the local community.

In November 2024, JERRYBAG established the Sustainable Design Center (SDC) in Kampala — a collaborative hub offering professional tailoring, vocational training, and skill-building programs for local women. SDC also runs an on-site Gift Shop offering handcrafted, sustainable products — bags, accessories, souvenirs, home décor, and custom items — for local shoppers, tourists, corporate clients, organizations, and international customers. By providing a supportive environment, SDC empowers women to achieve financial independence while producing high-quality goods for local and international markets.
