Assistant Lecturer - Foundations & Curriculum Studies

Key Duties & Responsibilities

1.Teach, examine and grade students;

2.Supervise research for students;

3.Mentor junior staff;

4.Conduct research and community outreach activities;

5.Write proposals for attracting funding to the department;

6.Perform any other official duties as assigned by the Head of Department

Required Qualifications

i.                             Master of Education in Education Foundations (specialising in Philosophy of Education);

ii.                            At least an upper second Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Arts with Education or Bachelor of science with Education or Any Bachelors degree with a Postgraduate Diploma in Education.

OR:

i.                             Master of Arts in Arts (Specialising in general Philosophy);

ii.                            Postgraduate Diploma in Education;

iii.                           Any Bachelors degree.
