The Sales Executive is responsible for driving sales growth by identifying new business opportunities, promoting SOSTAP’s solar products and services, converting leads into sales, and maintaining strong customer relationships while upholding the company’s values, ethics, and brand image.

- Identify, engage, and secure potential customers for SOSTAP’s solar products and services.
- Conduct market visits, door-to-door sales, community engagements, and outreach activities to generate new leads.
- Build and maintain an up-to-date database of prospective and active clients.
- Expand market presence through networking and referrals.
- Promote, explain, and demonstrate SOSTAP’s solar products and solutions to individuals, communities, institutions, and businesses.
- Conduct product presentations, activations, exhibitions, and demonstrations.
- Provide accurate information on product features, pricing, warranties, and benefits.
- Educate customers on solar energy usage, maintenance, and value.
- Follow up on leads and convert them into successful sales.
- Prepare and issue quotations, product specifications, and sales proposals.
- Negotiate within approved pricing guidelines to close deals.
- Ensure all sales transactions, agreements, and documentation are completed and submitted accurately.
- Build, manage, and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
- Respond to customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and promptly.
- Conduct post-sale follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Encourage repeat business and customer referrals.
- Collect market intelligence on customer needs, competitor products, pricing, and sales strategies.
- Monitor market trends and emerging opportunities in the renewable energy sector.
- Submit periodic market and competitor analysis reports to management.
- Recommend sales and marketing strategies based on field insights.
- Ensure correct placement and use of branded materials such as banners, posters, and flyers.
- Support marketing campaigns, roadshows, and community sensitisation programs.
- Uphold a professional image and represent SOSTAP positively in all public engagements.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports to the Human Resource Department and Managing Director.
- Track personal sales performance against assigned targets and KPIs.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, customer interactions, sales progress, and completed deals.
- Coordinate with solar technicians for site surveys, installations, and technical assessments.
- Ensure technical teams receive accurate customer details, job orders, and timelines.
- Provide customer feedback to technical and management teams to improve service delivery.
- Maintain strong and up-to-date knowledge of solar products, systems, financing options, warranties, and basic technical concepts.
- Participate in company trainings, refresher courses, and product updates.
- Stay informed about developments in the renewable energy industry.
- Adhere to company policies, approved pricing structures, and sales procedures.
- Maintain honesty, integrity, and transparency in all customer interactions.
- Ensure proper and responsible use of company resources, including marketing materials and information.
- Uphold SOSTAP’s values, code of conduct, and ethical standards at all times.
