Reports To: Production Manager / Operations Manager

Job Summary:
The Production & Operations Supervisor will oversee daily bakery production activities, ensure product quality, manage staff on the production floor, and support smooth overall operations of the bakery. The role ensures production targets are met efficiently while maintaining quality, hygiene, safety, and cost-control standards.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise daily bakery production processes to ensure products are baked and packaged according to quality standards.
  • Plan, schedule, and assign production tasks to ensure output meets daily demand and order requirements.
  • Monitor raw materials usage, inventory, and report any shortages promptly.
  • Ensure bakery machinery and equipment are functional, and follow up for repairs/maintenance when required.
  • Implement and enforce hygiene, food handling, and safety standards as per regulations.
  • Work closely with procurement, store, and dispatch to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of products.
  • Maintain production records, reports, and daily output sheets.
  • Train, guide, supervise, and evaluate production staff performance.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and recommend improvements to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
  • Coordinate with management on production targets, workforce planning, resource needs, and production timelines.


Qualifications & Experience:
  • Diploma or Degree in Food Technology, Operations Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in bakery/FMCG/food production operations.
  • Strong supervision, planning, and reporting skills.
  • Knowledge of quality control, hygiene, and food safety standards.
  • Good communication and leadership abilities.
