Lecturer - Department of Economic Theory and Analysis

Key Duties & Responsibilities

1.Teach, examine and grade students;    

2.Supervise research for students;    

3.Mentor junior staff;    

4.Conduct research and community outreach activities;    

5.Write proposals for attracting funding to the department;    

6.Perform any other official duties as assigned by the Head of Department    

 Required Qualifications

PhD, Economics or Statistics or Mathematics;i.                     

Masters in Economics or Mathematics or Statistics;ii.                    

An honors Bachelor of Economics or BSc Economics or Mathematics or Statistics;iii.                   

Knowledge and ability to teach data analysis using Stata and applied Stata programming;iv.                   

Knowledge and ability to teach data analysis using R and EViewsv.
