INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY | Child Development & Behavioural Observation Intern
Job descriptions & requirements
Rescue Mission for Street Life (RMFSL) is looking for a curious and committed intern interested in child development, structured play, behavioural observation and child protection.
The intern will work alongside our child-protection team at ThriveSpace in Kampala, supporting structured activities with children, observing and documenting patterns of behaviour and recovery, and contributing to our learning around how children demonstrate readiness for safe and lasting reintegration.
We would particularly welcome students or recent graduates in:
• Psychology
• Child Development
• Social Work
• Counselling
• Education or related disciplines
This is a learning and practice opportunity — not a clinical or diagnostic role.
If you are interested in understanding how recovery can be observed, documented and strengthened in real-world child-protection practice, we would like to hear from you.
