Graduate Trainee - Production
Job summary
To undergo structured training and practical exposure in production operations while supporting the supervision and coordination of daily production activities. The role is intended to develop the technical, operational, leadership, quality, safety, and people-management competencies required to effectively perform the role of a supervisor.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Assist in supervising section activities, including staff attendance, adherence to work procedures, and proper use and handling of production equipment, under the guidance of the Production Supervisor.
- Support the implementation of section production plans and programmes, while gaining practical understanding of production scheduling, workflow, and operational requirements.
- Assist in coordinating section production activities with the Quality Assurance Department and other Production sections, and support the preparation of daily shift records and monthly production reports.
- Support compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) within the section and participate in cGMP training and other relevant training programmes.
- Assist in monitoring and managing section requirements for consumables and production materials, including proper usage, recording, and accountability of materials.
- Assist in monitoring the quality of processed drug materials to ensure that production activities are carried out in accordance with approved specifications, procedures, and quality standards.
- Assist in identifying, reporting, documenting, and investigating non-conformities and deviations from approved procedures and standards, under the guidance of the Production Supervisor and relevant departments.
- Support the achievement of section production targets by monitoring production activities, identifying operational challenges, and assisting in implementing corrective actions under supervision.
- Coordinate with the cGMP Committee and relevant supervisors in facilitating worker training in accordance with the approved training programme.
Academic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
