Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Dispenser role based in Kampala. The Dispenser will support day-to-day pharmacy operations, including receiving and verifying prescriptions, dispensing products accurately, and assisting with basic compounding of formulations where required. The role involves providing clear and courteous customer service, explaining product usage and dosage, and maintaining proper records and inventory. The Dispenser will work closely with pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal quality standards. The position also includes maintaining a clean, organized dispensing area and following safety and confidentiality protocols.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Certificate/Diploma in Nursing, Pharmacy, or Food and Nutrition from a recognized institution.
• Pharmacy Operations: Strong understanding of pharmacy practice, including prescription handling and accurate product dispensing.
• Customer Service: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
• Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of compounding and preparing pharmaceutical or nutraceutical products.
• Professional Standards: High attention to detail, reliability, and strict adherence to ethical and professional safety protocols.
• Physical Capability: Ability to stand for extended periods and thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
• Experience: Prior experience in a pharmacy environment is preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary Range: 250,000 UGX – 400,000 UGX per month
• Additional Benefits: Accommodation, Meals, and Transport provided
