AKSO Groups Uganda Limited, on behalf of its valued client, seeks motivated and energetic professionals passionate about the mobile phone and sales industry. The role offers hands-on field experience in marketing, recruitment, sales, and team leadership, with promotion opportunities to National Regional Manager for top performers.
Job descriptions & requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to various cities and towns nationwide to conduct recruitment drives and offline promotional events
- Work closely with local sales teams to support offline marketing and recruitment activities
- Train and support local sales managers and newly recruited sales representatives
- Record photos and videos of events using a smartphone for reporting and promotion
- Guide sales agents and customers through registration and sales order processes
- Respond to questions from sales staff and provide operational support
- Identify and build relationships with local contacts in different regions
- Track, record, and report daily operational expenses
Requirements
- Male candidates only
- Must possess a valid National ID
- Must own a fully functional smartphone
- Strong understanding of local markets and cultural dynamics
- 1–2 years’ experience in sales, field operations, market activations, team coordination, or call center work
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability
to multitask and manage small teams under tight deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in smartphone sales or financial installment products
- Prior experience as a team coordinator, project assistant, or junior team lead
- Experience traveling and working in up-country cities and towns
- Ability to speak multiple local languages is an added advantage
Work Expectations
- Minimum of 3 working days per week in up-country locations
- Recruit at least 10 active Sales Agents per week
- Recruitment below target will be assessed as a KPI and may result in further training or contract termination
Salary & Benefits
• Monthly Gross Salary: UGX 600,000
• Commission: UGX 10,000 per recruited Sales Agent with active sales
• Transport, data, airtime, food, and accommodation fully reimbursed
