Education & Spiritual Facilitator

Role / Duties 

• Coordinate education and spiritual development activities within project communities.
• Strengthen schools, churches, and families through training and community engagement.
• Facilitate teacher capacity building and Christian discipleship programs.
• Support distribution of education resources and monitor project implementation.
• Prepare reports and ensure activities align with IDI Uganda's Christian values.

Key Responsibilities 

• Plan and facilitate teacher training on pedagogy and psychosocial support.
• Mobilize parents and communities to support school feeding and education initiatives.
• Strengthen PTAs and support school management and sustainability programs.
• Coordinate distribution of uniforms, scholastic materials, sports equipment, and school supplies.
• Support school gardens, food storage initiatives, and agricultural activities.
• Identify and mentor talented learners while supporting education sponsorship initiatives.
• Coordinate children's discipleship, mailbox lessons, and youth spiritual development.
• Train churches, Sunday School teachers, and community leaders on Biblical principles.
• Organize family, marriage, stewardship, evangelism, and revival programs.
• Support Christian leadership development and church capacity-building activities.
• Coordinate Bible distribution and monitor church construction activities where applicable.
• Monitor, document, and report education and spiritual program achievements, challenges, and impact.
