Anesthetist
Job summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Anesthetist to provide safe, effective anesthesia and pain management for patients undergoing surgical and medical procedures. You will assess patients before procedures, develop and administer individualized anesthesia plans, monitor patients throughout procedures, and support their recovery afterward.
Job descriptions & requirements
1. Proving pre, intra and post-operative care.
2. Providing patients and attendants with appropriate information on their condition and treatment options so that patients can give informed consent.
3. Assessing patient’s readiness for surgery through physical examination, reviewing medical history and laboratory results and obtain patients written authorization for operation.
4. Administering anesthesia during surgery to control patients pain and level of consciousness and provide continual medical assessment of vital life functions.
5. Identifying evidence of recovery and determine when the patient has been stabilized to be moved to ward.
6. Providing resuscitation services in case of emergency and disaster situations.
7. Planning and budgeting for anesthesia activities and administering it.
8. Participating
in Quality Improvement, Infection Prevention and Control and Drug and Therapeutic
Committees.
