JOB TITLE: HUMAN RESOURCE BUSINESS PARTNER, PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS

REF: LPL/HRBP-PMS/11/03/2023  

Reporting to the Human resource manager, the successful candidate will;  

  • Review and implement the performance management systems, tools, mid-year and end year performance  reviews and present the performance reports to management.  
  • Align organizational strategic objectives to departmental performance indicators and guide line managers  on implementing, measuring and achieving the same. 
  • Train line managers and staff in performance management systems, tools and processes 
  • Execute other human resource management functions including recruitment, talent development, training,  employee welfare, and disciplinary handling procedures.  
  • Submit weekly reports to the supervisor and participate in all internal and external audits accordingly 
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor. 

Education qualifications & experience  

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Organizational Psychology, or any other related  discipline from a recognized institution of higher learning 
  • A certificate in performance management systems and knowledge of balanced scorecard systems is an added advantage. 
  • A postgraduate qualification in Human Resource Management. 
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role in a manufacturing or busy organization 

Skills and professional competencies required  

  • Coaching, counseling, training, computer proficiency, self-drive, effective communication skills, excellent customer care, sound decision-making skills, and ability to work in the field. 



JOB TITLE: SALES EXECUTIVE,

REF: LPL/SE/11/03/2023  

Reporting to the Head of sales and marketing, the successful candidate will;  

  • Market and sell all company products and ensure to achieve the sales targets accordingly 
  • Participate in developing business plans, sales, and marketing strategies to retain existing customers,  attract new customers, and achieve the company’s sales targets and profits 
  • Participate in conducting frequent market surveys to understand customers’ needs, competitors’ analysis, and price analysis, develop new products, identify sales opportunities, and attain a bigger market share. 4. Participate in all sales and marketing promotional activities like; exhibitions, trade fairs, trade shows,  advertisements, and media campaigns geared towards increasing the market share. 
  • Maintain rapport with key accounts by making field visits, exploring specific needs, and anticipating new opportunities. 
  • Ensure full visibility, distribution, and accessibility of all company products in all shops accordingly. 
  • Coordinate sales orders with all customers and promptly advise on delivery.  
  • Participate in the debt collection exercise, follow up on customer balances as per credit days, and advise on invoices due for clearance. 
  • Provide daily and monthly market intelligence reports and sales performance reports in line with the applicable reporting systems accordingly.  
  • Participate in all internal and external audit exercises as required accordingly.  
  • Any other duties assigned by the supervisor  

Education qualifications & experience  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or any other related field.  ∙
  • A Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration or sales is an added advantage  ∙
  • Any other Professional Qualifications. 
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in a Manufacturing/FMCG company or a similar busy setup.

JOB TITLE: INTERNAL AUDITOR,

REF: LPL/IA/11/03/2023 

REPORTING TO THE INTERNAL AUDIT SUPERVISOR, THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL; 

Participate in planning and implementing audit work plans for all departments in-line with the audit  schedules monthly 

  • Conduct reviews of all processes to evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls. 
  • Execute detailed audit procedures including reviewing transactions, documents, records, and policies for  accuracy and meeting set standards 
  • Conduct inventory verification in all locations in different plants. 
  • Conduct physical asset verifications within the organization. 
  • Conduct evaluation and costing studies as directed by the supervisor. 
  • Conduct scheduled and special audits and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop more detailed audit techniques and procedures for specific areas assigned if necessary. 
  • Schedule contacts with the audited officials and employees on matters relative to audit assignments so they are not unnecessarily disrupted. 
  • Present reports and discuss findings and recommendations with the internal audit supervisor 
  • Conduct audits by applying the audit principles and procedures as per the guidelines of the Institute of  Internal Auditors. 
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism as per the requirements of an internal auditor. .
  • Participate in monthly stock-take exercises and conduct spot-check audits whenever required. 
  • Participate in investigation processes of various cases as per the requirements. 
  • Check cash vouchers, bank vouchers, journal vouchers, Material requisitions, Stock transfers, and intercompany transfers. 
  • Participate in internal and external audits as required accordingly. 
  • Check store purchases by physically verifying the items and handling the vouching for invoices, Purchase requisitions, purchases order, and goods receipt notes. 
  • Identify organizational risks and engage process owners and management teams in managing those risks to increase process efficiencies and effectiveness. 
  • Submit daily, weekly and monthly reports to the supervisor 
  • Any other duties assigned by the supervisor 

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE  

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or any other related field  ∙
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in an FMCG or busy environment in the same position.  ∙
  • A professional qualification in ACCA /CPA is an added advantage 
  • Knowledge of computerized accounting and auditing record-keeping systems 

SKILLS & PROFESSIONAL ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED 

  • S/he must have excellent professional, integrity, confidentiality, analytical, conceptual, creativity, innovation, numerical, report writing, communication, and customer care skills.
  • Should have a positive  attitude, be self-driven, flexible, and results-focused, work under pressure with minimum supervision, and the  ability to work extra hours 



JOB TITLE: TRANSPORT SUPERVISOR,

REF: LPL/TS/11/03/2023 

Reporting to the Human resource manager, the successful candidate will;  

  • Develop section work plans, and budgets and implement the same 
  • Review and implement the transport standard operating procedures. 
  • Plan and allocate delivery routes to drivers on a daily basis 
  • Ensure that trucks and drivers have all the road safety tools like reflector jackets, stoppers, triangular reflectors, jerks, wheel spanners, toolbox, etc.  
  • Implement preventive maintenance schedules and ensure all cars and trucks are in good mechanical condition and are insured 
  • Sensitise drivers on defensive driving skills to reduce accidents and incidents 
  • Monitor driver's fuel usage, and regularly check driver’s trip/delivery sheets and car log books to ensure things are  okay 
  • Daily monitoring of car tracking system on vehicle movements, routes, speed and ensuring that customers' deliveries are made on time 
  • Supervise, train, and appraise all subordinates 
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Education qualifications and experience 

  • A diploma or degree in auto-mechanical engineering from a recognized institution of higher learning. ∙ A driving permit and driving experience.  
  • Minimum 4 years experience in a similar role in a busy manufacturing company  

Knowledge, skills, and competences

  • Leadership and people management skills, effective communication skills, excellent customer care skills,  sound decision-making skills, teamwork and ability to follow standard operating procedures. ∙ Physical strength and stamina and ability to work for long hours and move to the field.
