About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Inspection Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating inspection activities, ensuring compliance with established protocols, and maintaining accurate documentation. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication with inspectors and senior coordinators.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all project documents are shared with the relevant inspectors.
- Review documents for completeness, including inspection location, procedures, supplier details, and other requirements outlined in inspection protocols.
- Understand each project/Purchase Order thoroughly, focusing on details required for different inspection types (e.g, sampling procedures, applicable standards, moisture measurement methods, and technical specifications).
- Coordinate project inspections and provide timely reminders to inspectors on critical information to be obtained.
- Support the training of new inspectors, ensuring they understand project-specific requirements.
- Compile and draft inspection reports promptly and accurately.
- Share fully compiled inspection reports and related documents with the Senior Project Coordinator in a timely manner.
- Verify all information provided by inspectors to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Adhere strictly to inspection protocols when coordinating inspection activities.
- Report all work performed under your docket to the Senior Project Coordinator.
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Senior Project Coordinator.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, Food Science, Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
- Prior experience in inspection, quality control, or project coordination is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with inspection protocols and technical standards is desirable.
