Production Supervisor
Job summary
The Production Supervisor is responsible for supervising daily production activities to ensure products are manufactured efficiently, safely, and in accordance with quality standards and production schedules.

- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet production targets.
- Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards are consistently maintained.
- Allocate work to production staff and monitor their performance.
- Ensure machines and equipment are operated safely and efficiently.
- Monitor the availability and proper use of raw materials to minimize waste.
- Ensure production schedules are adhered to, and customer orders are completed on time.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production environment.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and quality procedures.
- Report equipment breakdowns and coordinate with the maintenance team to minimize downtime.
- Train, coach, and motivate production staff to improve performance and productivity.
- Prepare daily production reports, including output, downtime, quality issues, and material usage.
- Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Work closely with the Quality Control, Warehouse, Procurement, and Operations teams to ensure smooth production processes.
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- At least 1–2 years of experience in a supervisory role is an added advantage.
- Experience in plastic manufacturing or a similar production environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of manufacturing and production processes.
- Strong leadership and team supervision skills.
- Good planning and organizational skills.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of quality control and workplace safety practices.
- Ability to prepare production reports.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
