Job summary
<Document submission due date: 13, Feb> The M&E Officer manages performance monitoring, KPI tracking, and indicators, with a focus on SACCO activities. The role supports business performance, institutional strengthening, and income outcomes, working with the Project Manager, field teams, and SACCO leadership to ensure evidence-based implementation.

• Bachelor’s degree in one of the following (or related fields):
– Monitoring & Evaluation
– Statistics
– Economics
– Development Studies
– Agriculture / Agribusiness
– Rural Development
– Social Sciences
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in M&E or performance management
• Proven experience managing KPIs and indicators in development projects
• Prior experience in agriculture-related or rural development projects is highly preferred
• Experience working with cooperatives, SACCOs, or community-based financial institutions is a strong advantage
• Strong analytical, reporting, and data management skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel and other data analysis tools
• Ability to work independently in a field-based setting
