Role Overview
The IT Officer, Security Monitoring & Support, oversees the digital infrastructure supporting surveillance, fleet tracking, access control, and compliance reporting across Klan Logistics’ operations. This includes real-time monitoring of driver behavior, fleet status, and remote surveillance of fulfillment centers nationwide. The role ensures operational integrity, safety, and adherence to company protocols through proactive system oversight and data-driven reporting.
Key Responsibilities
• Surveillance & Fulfillment Center Monitoring
• Remotely monitor CCTV and surveillance systems across all fulfillment centers and logistics hubs
• Identify and escalate security breaches, unauthorized access, and operational anomalies
• Ensure uptime and functionality of surveillance infrastructure across all sites
• Driver Behavior & Violation Tracking
• Monitor driver conduct using telematics and onboard systems
• Detect and report violations such as speeding, route deviation, harsh braking, and unauthorized stops
• Collaborate with Fleet and HR teams on incident reviews and disciplinary actions
• Fleet Status Oversight
• Track fleet movement, fuel consumption, engine diagnostics, and route compliance
• Flag operational issues and coordinate with Fleet Control for resolution
• Maintain dashboards and alerts for real-time fleet health and performance
• Access Control Management
• Administer access control systems for vehicles, fulfillment centers, and logistics facilities
• Manage user credentials, access logs, and permissions
• Support onboarding/offboarding processes in access systems
• Compliance & Reporting
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on surveillance, fleet metrics, and access control
• Ensure data integrity and timely submission to relevant departments
• Support internal audits and investigations with system logs and analytical insights
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in systems monitoring, preferably in logistics or transport
• Hands-on experience with CCTV, GPS tracking, access control, and reporting tools
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Familiarity with compliance and data protection standards
